Sep 3, 2008 - gear it down to first, than slowly push gear lever up not t osecond gear but to gear betwean first and second, that would be neutral.

Sep 5, 2008 - wow thats a old bike

Sep 6, 2008 - i actually did get an r6. hasnt given me all that much trouble yet. i think a 600cc sportbike is still a decent beginner bike depending on the maturity and control of the rider. if the rider respects(or is like me and scared shitless of how much power) the amount of power the machine has, i think anyone can learn on a larger bike.on the same token, my friend bought a ninja 250, and damn near killed himself on it. he didnt respect it though.i think maturity and respect are the big things.

Sep 20, 2008 - And lots of practice :) :)
j3b0v4 Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - yes...DEFF a LOT of practice. when you get on there for the first time, just know that in complete honesty, the chances are that you WILL lay over your bike while you are learning. it happens when you learn. just like a pedalbike, you will probably fall. the trick is to get back up and not give up.just be careful, and you should be fairly safe

Sep 23, 2008 - how does lowering the bike an inch affect the handling comfort control and safety of the bike?
noturavgman81 Says:
Sep 23, 2008 - When downshifting do you have to rev the engine slightly for the engine speed to catch up to the higher revs or if donnshifting thru more than one gear. Also if downshifting more than one gear do i have to release the clutch and shifter for each gear? example would be emergency braking situations
deluxedookie Says:
Sep 25, 2008 - multi down shift you gotta wait till you get low rpm to release the clutch, be way to learn is drive a car and do smooth shifting.
