Dec 2, 2008 - The problems are spreading out from CA now into AZ and NV. I haven't heard much about OR or WA but parts of CO are in trouble as well. Even new strip malls are standing unfinished and vacant.

Dec 2, 2008 - When it gets worse, there are going to be more squatters than the law can handle. I still think that an underground or alternative economy can help people survive.

profnasty Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - The eye of this storm is in southern states where illegal mexican workers flooded in. Mortgage fraud combined with them overbuilt, and predictably so. Now Georgy Porgy will run to his 'ranch' hideout in Paraguay. Those of us who cannot run will suffer. Thanks Mexico! Are your boys still here working? They are in trouble when the shot hits the fan.

artbiz45 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - if we spend one week of the money we spent in Iraq here In our beloved USA we would have solved all the problems.

itubeutude Says:

Pananarchist Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - If you're interested in what happened in Argentina, you should watch The Take.Search google for:The.Take.2004.avi with English subtitlesIf economic collapse is inevitable, my hope is that a broad-based libertarian movement--socialist, market or otherwise--takes root sometime soon. If not, we may be facing an ugly future.

Zwikster Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - you should see the condos up here in Vancouver. Total opposite. they are being built so fast and are getting bought up rapidly. I get so many thick cardboard colour ads in the mail for them also. They are popping up like gophers. I hear its because of the 2010 Olymplics and thats why the prices are sky-high. Once the Olympics are over, prices should plunge. I just moved her 10 months ago and am amazed at the amount of development....I wonder what will happen up here...

powergirl901 Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - I used to live in Studio City, Cal, and I sure hope the landlords there get to experience homelessness themselves! Spending all that money just to stay in a one bedroom...the humanity.

intrascoobz Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - I've had enough of the few at the top deciding what is in our best interests. It is time for all of humanity to decide together what is our best interests. The money suckers now hoarding the film industry with vampire films is reflective. As a whole, humanity has given up freewill unknowingly. Conquer & divide has worked 4 who? What if unite & decide becomes the prevalent topic amongst ourselves & we thought think unity, purpose, intent, & focus on newer experience? 180 degrees flip~unity~love

addictfan Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - well said. it does seem extremely impractical how our system is working right now, not only economically put also immoral how we the people have to watch what is happening with no power to control it. any people can be divided and conquered when they are convinced of enemies that aren't real when the real enemy is holding our puppet strings. yeah right, what if unite and decide could be a new way. if it can be achieved then we shouldn't ask "what if" but why not.

intrascoobz Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Well said! Yes! ~ why not instead of what if. The financial collapse not just here in US is happening as quick as the buildings that fell on 9/11. Hatreds of this one or that are methodically created & utilized (their secret unity). System here is the same elsewhere. Devalue the currency? Fear?Refusing to consent worldwide is critical. No Fear, choice & to grow in #s & thought think creatively. The key to break the system is in ability to focus on newer experiences. Love expands possibilities.
