Dec 2, 2008 - Thanks... Yeah, I think I have to say that I just have a freaky smart dog!! Does Karhu know how to paw/shake hands? If he does you can use that as a stepping stone. but move your hand out of the way before he gets to it, then treat. He'll soon get the idea! My hand signal is a little wave with my finger tips. If that doesn't work, there are some other ways too.

Dec 2, 2008 - he certainly is a smart jedi. wow a litter of 12 is huge!!! karhu's mum here in the uk just had a litter of 9 (biggest in the uk so far) and i wondered if you were having one of them - i didn't realise you're in oz.thanks for the tips on waving - i'll post a clip when he gets it - i have started it already :)can't wait to see some videos of your little fl. all the best and try to contain yourself over the next 5 weeks!

Dec 2, 2008 - Thanks... Oh it was 2 litters of 6 - both being born around the same time. I would love to see Karhu doing some tricks!! And I will definitely be putting up videos of our little girl when she arrives. The first will be when she is 6 weeks old (we're going to go visit her at the breeders).
