muzik4machines Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - only if you do the setup for me every night :lol:you'll love those 2 together, they are a perfect fit

CizreK Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - Yeah I decided to upgrade the MKP to a KP3 (seemed like the right thing since its packed with effects, sampling, ect) Ill make sure to send ya my video whenever I make a chuune :P

muzik4machines Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - cool :)and with thte 4 sample slots on the KP, you can sample 4 phrases/loops from the kaossilator, stop it, delete it and start again without any silence holessee: y o u t u b e . c o m /watch?v=qj0uQyg6VFk&feature=PlayList&p=25A00E635053C2CA&index=0&playnext=1 for a live set using only those 2 (and some delays from the mini, but so underused)

Dec 2, 2008 - Hey man,Is there an effects processor/board or pedal... that I could link to my mackie mixer board to use with live drums...for delay, reverb, compression, echo, etc...???? your help appreciated...

muzik4machines Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - if you vant tactile control, get a kaoss pad 3, will do almost all you need besides compression9kp3 compressor sucks)

Dec 2, 2008 - thanks sooo much man...looks really cool, and i will get one. so, for clarity, I can run my acoustic drum set microphones into my mixer board....then the mixer outs to the korg...and send that to the main mixer board at the sound control booth, where the sound guy is...and easily adjust the effects that i want to apply to my kit between songs while i play? thank you again for this.....

muzik4machines Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - youcould do that, tho i would suggest a rack unit if you plan to have settings on for the whole song instead of tweaking livelook into loxicon/tc multi fx maybei would also advise on usin the fx in a send/return config more than in insert/on the output line configuration if you plan on delays/verb (use a pre fader aux send if available that way you can for examble put auto-wha on the hats and NOT hear the dry hat by lowering the fader, and having the rest of the kit untouched (see next reply)

muzik4machines Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - you could get a dp4 or some multi bus fx and use all aux sends on your mixer to feed the 4 busses, thus having 4 different fx (like auto wha on hats, parallel comp on kik snare overhead(mono) verb for the snare and toms and a delay for fun and having presets for every song (only thing is if you have an analog mixer you will need to tweak the aux sends too if they change(i would plan it so it doesnt and the unused fx are just muted in the preset))for compression i would (see next reply)

muzik4machines Says:

Dec 2, 2008 - get 2 types of comps1 stereo for the master out to even out levels and protect the FOH guy inputs1 stereo/quad/octo comp(depending on your needs) to insert on different kit pieces (and maybe as an effect, ie, send the overheads to a bus, insert a stereo comp, send a sidechian signal from the kick into the sidechain in and you'll get benny benassy like pumping cymbals, live, on your acoustic drumset)
