I ran my GTI at DubFest and ended up getting a 5th place trophy. Not bad considering the only cars that beat me were a Mini Cooper S, a race-prepped Gen 1 Scirocco, and two guys sharing a Porsche Boxster. (EDIT: and a bunch of non-euro cars that couldn't compete for trophies - ha!)This video is of my 66.75 run that was good for 5th place. The GTI is a stock DSG 4 door running Azenis RT-615's. I know winning at Dubfest is like winning at the Special Olympics, but I'll take what I can get :)I'd like to thank Stephen and Michael for being instructors and thus not eligible for trophies. Thanks guys!

If I remember I manged a 63.xx being the third fast's there. First fastest on street tires.All and all it was good but VERY un-organized, no body knew what was going on

I guess I forgot them this time :)There was a HUGE gap of time (something like 6 seconds) between the winning Boxster and my time...so ya...I'm probably more like 15th or something if you counted all the cars that fell into that gap. Yay Euro only :D

Dec 2, 2008 - Thanks! I'm using the CruiseCam mount because it works really well with the GTI headrests, but you'd need something different for the M3's one piece seats. The GoPro cameras seem to be getting popular.
