i,ve connected my n64 to a dvd recorder with a s-video cable, the dvd recorder does a great job of digitally converting s-video to rgb.you could even adjust the color,contrast etc,, and very inportment, record your stuff on dvd in supirior quality.as far as i know the us does have s-video...
